Founder
John Marshall has been an avid outdoorsman for over 30 years. Has been a fishing and hunting guide in Tennessee for more than 15 years. Founded the company, Wetland Outfitters back in 1998 in which provides tackle and guide service information. In 2013, started Bone Crusher Game Calls, a manufacture of Turkey and Deer calls. He is also co-partners with another group on maintaining and the development of the Poole K***s Archery Range in LaVergne, TN. Contact Information

New Deer Bait Privilege License available July 22

A new Deer Bait Privilege License will be available beginning July 22. The license was initiated by the Tennessee General Assembly and signed into law by Governor Bill Lee during the 2025 Legislative Session.

Hunters wishing to hunt white-tailed deer over bait are required to purchase this license. It will be available through GoOutdoorsTennessee.com and the TWRA On the Go App for $50 for Tennessee residents and $100 for non-residents.

We are just a couple weeks away for the TN turkey juvenile weekend. The 2026 Tennessee Statewide Young Sportsman Turkey Hunt is scheduled for April 4-5, 2026, for ages 6-16. Youth must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult and can harvest one bearded turkey per day, which counts toward the two-bird statewide bag limit.
