spring will be here before you know it. i am noticing the changes everyday. have you?
today, i would like to share my morning ritual & self care routine
morning rituals are very important to me to start my day
ayurveda believes that self care can help to eliminate imbalances. for me, it has helped to be more in tuned with my body. the more i care for it, the more i notice if something is off
i may not do them everyday, but notice a difference, if I don’t
morning ritual
upon waking
*tongue scrape
*brush teeth
*rinse face & eyes with cool water
*drink room temperature/warm water(8-12oz)
*sip on detoxifying tea(see notes for current recipe) it changes depending on my intuition
*journal
*depending on the day depends on the workout out(yoga, weight training, conditioning, walking, stretching)
*sit in silence
it’s important not begin a self care routine with a million of them because it can be overwhelming. just try one, then add on
**liver detoxifying tea
bring 20 whole black pepper, 20 whole cloves, 20 whole green cardamom pods & 5 sticks of cinnamon to one gallon of water. bring to a boil simmer for two hours. let steep overnight
