We are located in the Kelly Springs area here in Talladega County on the banks of Cheaha Creek!

Good evening everyone! Spring is here and the weather is warming more and more every day!

I guess now is as good of time as any to make this announcement. The last 5 years (2019)have been a blast with you all. However with the direction Sunnyside Plantation is taking, what with private events, bookings etc we will be dissolving Sunnyside Daycation LLC.

We will be closing the property to public access on the weekends to strictly private events, floats, and partys via Knight Entertainment and Events (KEE) only. We look forward to this new direction as in understanding it will be much more productive, and profitable. While easing stresses of risk, litter, and quit honestly general headache. More details to come as the season approaches.

A name change will soon occur on this page for KEE for PRIVATE bookings of the Plantation, bulk Float rentals for groups, weddings etc etc etc.
Those who wish to follow strictly a 'kayaking only' page are encouraged to unfollow now.

Furthermore those looking for another place to float are strongly encouraged to patron Talladega Creekside Resort. They have an amazing staff, offer basically the same float for generally the same price.

We wish you all a safe and happy summer and it has been an absolute honor openly serving the public for the last 5 years.

Good morning everyone!
Due to a sick bus and inclement weather expected today we will not be renting boats or running routes.
If you had your heart set on floating you are welcome to park and put in PERSONAL vessels. You will however need to make accommodations and arrangements to be picked up at the creek exit.
