🏆⚾️ 2026 Mississippi State Champions – Tipton Savage 8U Baseball ⚾️🏆
What a way to end the season!
After three days of battling through the Mississippi State Championship, the Tipton Savage 8U Baseball team finished the job and brought home the Championship Trophy! These boys went 2-1 in pool play and a perfect 3-0 in bracket play, finishing the weekend with an impressive 5-1 record.
From the first game to the championship celebration, this team showed exactly what it means to be Savage. The amount of incredible plays made throughout the weekend was unbelievable—diving catches, fly ball grabs, foul ball catches, double plays, clutch hits, and game-changing defensive stops. Every player contributed, and every player left it all on the field.
The weather certainly added an extra challenge with rain and lightning delays throughout the tournament, but these boys never let it affect their focus. Somehow, Mother Nature seemed to be on our side because the rain always came during our breaks, allowing us to take the field and do what we came to do.
What stood out most wasn’t just the championship win—it was the determination. You could see how badly these boys wanted it. They battled, competed, supported one another, and never backed down. Watching them finish the job was something special.
This tournament marked the final tournament of the season for this group, making the championship run even sweeter. While we’re sad to see this season come to an end, we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s next for these young athletes. The future is bright for every one of them.
