A new season means new goals.

We are kicking off this week with a quote from one of the most decorated athletes of all time.

Big goals don’t happen overnight. They happen by showing up, putting in the work, and focusing on the little things every single practice.

As we begin this season, think about what you want to accomplish. What do you want to improve on? What do you want to achieve? And most importantly, what can I do today to work towards my goals?

Set the goal. Make the plan. Trust the process.

Congratulations to our Mustangs who swim this past weekend at Zone Championships in Minnesota representing Team Illinois.

In finals we had the mustangs continue to represent Team Illinois. Congrats to these ladies and to Angie Lang for breaking her own team record in the 100 Breast!

Concluding the great weekend, Team Illinois had won the zone championships once again! Great way to finish off the season Mustangs!

Yesterday the Mustangs traded the pool for the open water. Congratulations to our athletes who swam at the 2026. Open Water State. It was a beautiful day for enjoying the sun and sand at Lake Manteno!

Congratulations to Caz Henley on placing 6th men’s 5K and to Ayla Crandall for placing 8th in the 2k!

Age Group State Championship Recap

What an incredible weekend for the Mustangs at the Age Group State Championships in Hobart, Indiana! Our swimmers continued to make waves with outstanding performances, numerous top finishes, and several new team records. We couldn't be prouder of everything this group accomplished.

Relay Highlights:
~Both 200 Freestyle Relay teams set new team records.
~The 11–12 Girls 200 Medley Relay broke the team record and earned a 3rd-place finish.
~The 13–14 Girls 200 Freestyle Relay set a new team record.
~Both the Boys and Girls 200 Medley Relay teams established new team records.
~The 11–12 Girls 400 Medley Relay placed 7th overall.
~The 13–14 Boys 400 Medley Relay set a new team record.
