Well… that’s a wrap on the 2026 Lake County Lobos season. 🐺🥍
For some of these players and coaches, this chapter comes to an end as they graduate and move on to high school lacrosse. And honestly, we couldn’t be prouder of this group of girls.
Some of you came to Lobos never even picking up a lacrosse stick before. Now look at you. The growth, confidence, toughness, and friendships built along the way have been incredible to watch. You all went from teammates to lifelong friends, and that’s something truly special.
Every season we say, “this group was special,” but there was just something different about this team. The bond these girls created, the way they supported one another, laughed together, battled together, and grew together is beyond anything we could have imagined.
We cannot wait to watch you all continue your journeys as student-athletes in high school. Keep working hard, stay humble, and remember where it all started.
And lastly, thank you to Coach Jaime and Coach Jon.
You two have been there since the beginning of Lobos. You stepped up, took the lead with this team, and showed what true dedication looks like. There were days when life was busy, work was exhausting, and personal things could’ve easily kept you away from practice — but you still showed up for these girls every single time with passion, energy, and love.
That’s what makes Lobos special.
We have a feeling this won’t be the last time we see this gang together again… maybe a few future tournaments are already calling your names. 😉
