Week 2 Results – Elwood Summer League

The Varsity team finished 1-1 on the day, falling to Knightstown before bouncing back with a win over Tri-Central.

The JV team battled hard but came up short in an overtime loss to Anderson Prep.

Both the Varsity and JV teams return to action this Thursday as we host Frankfort and Anderson Prep for closed scrimmages. We look forward to another opportunity to compete, improve, and continue building throughout the summer. 🏀💪

Morristown Shootout Results 🏀

Varsity returns to the Owls Nest with victories over Crothersville and Cascade, finishing the week with a perfect 4-0 record.

JV continued to compete hard in both contests against Crothersville and Cascade but came up short in each game.

Varsity returns to action next week as we head to the Elwood Summer League on Monday.

Elwood Summer League - Week 1 Results

The Varsity Owls opened the summer season with a pair of victories over Madison-Grant and Mississinewa.

The JV Owls competed hard in both contests against Madison-Grant and Mississinewa, remaining competitive throughout but falling short in each game.

Both the JV and Varsity Owls return to action Thursday as they travel to Morristown to compete in the Morristown Shootout.

The 13-year-old from Muncie made it to the seventh round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, finishing in a tie for 30th — his best finish in three trips to the national competition!

The seventh grader at Burris Laboratory School in Muncie is the only Indiana speller left in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Leo is competing in the national bee for the third time and will compete in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

The Schedule for the Boys Central Indiana Holiday Classic Presented by the Elwood and Frankton Athletic Departments. 42 Teams in the Boys Holiday Classic. Friday, January 1st games will be played at Elwood, Frankton, Alexandria, Lapel, Tipton, Eastern Greentown, and a northern site at Blackford! Saturday, January 2nd games will played at Elwood, Frankton, and Alexandria! A chance to watch some outstanding basketball and players in the state. Tickets will be $15.00 for Day 1 and the bracelet will be good at any site. Day 2 tickets will be $10.00 and the bracelet will be good at any site!
