We’ll be dodging showers all weekend but it won’t be an entire washout.

Be careful if you’re floating, river and creek levels will be high.

💦 Rainfall Forecast…

Hey! Some good news, there’s finally some Spring rains headed our way!

Now the bulk of this will fall during the week next work-week but we could see a few showers early Saturday or late Sunday

⚠️ Severe weather returns next week!

Lake Wedington in the Ozark National Forest near Siloam Springs and Fayetteville will reopen for one day for the first time since 2019 on Saturday, May 30, from 10a-7p.

The main parking lot, campgrounds, cabins, and recreation area have been closed since 2019, making this one-day reopening a rare chance to experience the space again.

Swimming is not yet approved pending water testing closer to the date, but kayaking and fishing are confirmed. Guests can bring their own gear or rent kayaks from Gypsy Camp & Canoe, and pack a picnic for the day.

⚡️Tracking Storms…

These storms tracking across Oklahoma will arrive in Arkansas this evening.

The severe risk will lessen with time but a few could continue their intensity. Overall, the local severe weather risk in Arkansas is low.

There’s gonna be another round tomorrow night, again… severe risk is low.

It is May tho, these things can be sneaky. Need to watch them close.
