Prices vary depending on where we are fishing, call or email to check our current specials. Services: Humptulips River
Boat: Drift Boat
In mid September the Humptulips River, (located a few miles east of Ocean Shores, WA) opens for its fall run of Chinook and Coho salmon. The mouth of the river is in Grays Harbor. The fish come in to the harbor and wait for rain to fill the river so they can swi
m up. By October, (depending on rainfall) the river is full of fresh fish. We target these fish from our Drift Boat. We float down 7-10 miles of river in an 8-10 hour day. These trips are action packed with multiple hook ups being the norm. We are hooking these fish on cured salmon eggs floated under a bobber or back bounced through the hole. The fishing continues into December for Coho and by Thanksgiving, Steelhead have entered the river as well and become part of the catch. Services: Wynoochee River
Boat: Drift Boat
We start fishing the Wynoochee River in December for winter steelhead. The Steelhead in this river are larger on average than most runs. There is an A run and B run that takes this fishery into March. We use our drift boat in this river and target these fish by side drifting bait and casting lures. When we feel these fish take the bait, the fight is on. Pound for pound these fish fight as hard as any salmon twice their size. The float is roughly 8 miles of river for an 8-10 hour day on the water. These trips can get cold and damp, please dress for these trips with that in mind. Services: Cowlitz River
Boat: Jet Sled
The Cowlitz offers many opportunities for anglers during the year. The fall salmon returns draw many anglers to the lower stretches of the river. The Coho returns have declined in recent years so we target them on different systems. However, there are times when we will fish for salmon on this river. Our target species on the river is steelhead. The Cowlitz River receives one of the best returns of steelhead in the state. There is a summer run that is very good fishing and a winter run that starts in late November. The B run of the winter run is our main focus. This kicks off in March and goes well into April when spring kings become part of the catch as well. Services: Columbia River
Boat: GradyWhite, Jet Sled
The Columbia is the largest river this side of the Mississippi and provides many fishing opportunities throughout the year. We focus on Spring Chinook, Summer-run Steelhead and Fall Chinook at Buoy 10 in Astoria. We fish this river in March and April for some of the best eating fish there are, Spring Chinook. We will chase these fish from the lower river near Cathalamet, through the Portland area up past Bonneville Dam to the mouth of the Wind River and into Drano Lake. There are many different techniques to get these fish to bite. However, we mainly troll herring and pull plugs. In June we begin fishing for Summer-run Steelhead in the lower river near Cathalamet. We will follow the fish up river and anchor in front of tributaries like the Cowlitz River. As the Columbia warms in the summer, the fish cool themselves on the cool run off of its smaller tributaries. These fish are very aggressive biters and they attack our bait. August 1st is the opener for our buoy 10 Salmon Season. We will be launching out of either Astoria or Hammond Oregon. This fishery draws thousands of anglers to this area for a reason. The fishing is awesome with limits of Chinook salmon being common. Coho salmon are also part of the catch and we are allowed to keep two adult fish, one being a Chinook and the Coho must be hatchery. We will spend the day trolling by following the tide. This is an action packed fishery that everyone should try. The wind can be bothersome on these trips so please bring a waterproof jacket for the ride.
