Thanks to Jeff Yates and Jason Davis for helping me with the corporate trip today. The fish of the day, 38” redfish, was caught on the last cast, with the TFO intracoastal rod and Osprey 2500 Florida Fishing Product reel, and Four Horsemen popping cork in two foot of water. Had two great trips today, first trip we put together a 9 boat corporate trip and with the fish they brought back, we had WatersEdge restaurant cook us up an unreal lunch. My second trip was with some guys that last fished with me 13 years ago. We put a hurting on them, just like we did 13 years ago. Had newlyweds on the boat today from Oklahoma, they thought they should give red fishing a shot and they glad they did. Tons of fish caught of all sizes. I think they enjoyed themselves. Got the great opportunity to take long time friends, the Johnson girls, out on moms birthday fishing trip. Mom said on the ride to our first spot, I want to catch a flounder, a shark and maybe see an alligator, well I knew I could make two of the three happen and just knew no chance of the alligator. Today was the first trip with the new reels from Florida fishing products. Right off the bat we put them to test. I went with the Bahia 3000 with the 22lbs drag and paired it with the TFO intracoastal 7’6” rod. These reels are everything they say they are. ,
