Terrace Creek Disc Golf Course

Terrace Creek Disc Golf Course The premier disc golf course of the North Puget Sound. Very challenging 18 hole course with lots and hills and some OB. Pros can shoot 9 under maybe better.

Two mandatory routes for safety concerns on hole two and hole eight. It is designed similarly to Dela Veaga in Santa Cruz. There are many holes with small greens and drop offs near the gree like Dela. Hole 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 16 have all been aced so don't think it's toooooo hard. but it can be tough for beginners. Aspire to better your game here. Major variety.

Note: A couple of holes are changing at Terrace Creek. Hole 5 is being replaced by a similar sized hole elsewhere, so as to not interfere with the cement walking path. The Boy Scouts are working on clearing the area for the new hole. Rumors that the course is shutting down are FALSE.

Happy discing!!

Changes are afoot. Hole five will be taken out fairly soon. A redesign is in process. The course will be a little harder to score on. It looks like there will be a new hole near hole 18 that very likely will be over 400 feet in length to replace the length of hole 5. There is a good chance we can also move the tee on 17 back to put that hole over 400 ft. also. I think it is an improvement in many ways. The course will play more sequentially and not circle back on itself as hole 13 did. It will be an adventure and eliminate the waiting that happens on hole 5 or not being able to play it at all due to too many pedestrians.

Terrace Creek is challenging and designed very closely to Dela Viega in Santa Cruz. Dela is one of the most respected and liked courses on the west coast. Terrace emulates it but is shorter. It may really tax beginners. Pros commonly shoot 9 under and better. Aspire to greater skill. The course is just tough.

Hole 5 is still ticking. Thanks park dept.

Don't throw if ANYBODY is in the way and could be hit. It looks like hole 5 will now be removed probably by spring as someone got careless and hit somebody walking on hole 5 this past month. They warned us that one more person hit on that hole would cause it to be removed. Hopefully we will get an even better layout somehow? I hope. Look for changes coming soon.

Here's a little disc golf humor I found...What are the 4 worst words you can hear during a tournament? "It's still your turn"
