The performance we put on today is just a small part of what the cheer dad Mafia is all about. I remember my oldest daughter’s first year at FYC cheer. I was in the stands of a youth league football game. I found myself watching the football game more than I was watching her even though I didn’t have any kids playing football. She called me out on it after the game. She was so sad and I felt so bad. I wanted to support her and cheer her on but I didn’t know much about cheerleading. Later that season I found out about a group of dads that were cheering on their girls together. When I seen them together at my daughters first competition I knew I had to be apart of that. Now my youngest daughter is coming Into her last year with FYC cheer and thanks to the cheer dad mafia she has never had to feel sad wondering if I cared about her as a cheerleader. If you have a kid at FYC join the mafia.
