getting down to business with the 360, clearing trail in final preparation for camp next weekend! Cleared several hazards including a couple hanging with a lot of energy. 25" is too.much bar for this saw as is, but to configure it as a medium weight trail saw with added reach for tricky cuts, it's excellent.

._egg_888 keeps getting smarter at this stuff. Even did a recon for a reported tree while I prepped gear and returned with info that made it easier to get there and finish it in one trip with minimal extra gear.

50 miler with that working to . He led a lot of the time, but on the sections I ran, I'd push fairly hard, only to look back and see him a few seconds behind me out of the dust.

Found some sick riding spots and frankly, some of the jeep trails were perfect training areas for Baja. Soooo rocky and chewed up! Fun to hit them at high speed knowing that air is for combustion not tires, so you're running Michelin bibs!

The mighty gave us all the usual quirks. With the oil leak from the slave cylinder gasket fixed, we realized we had a bubble in the line. Might have got it, but unsure, as there were some squishy moments. The sight glass seal now appears to be seeping. Starter worked well at the beginning but quit when the going got tough, though the battery is perfect. . Know how hard it is to kick a flooded thumper when you're 155lbs on rough terrain? ._egg_888 does! Good work dude, I know that was frustrating! You are !

hard at work, earning that chicky-nuggie money with the Stihl and a 36" bar.

We got a call for some fairly complex trees down on , and from the pictures we knew we'd want the long bars so we'd have standoff for safety. Lots of torsion and compression and energy, with a root wad at the end of the video that flipped the tree back up in the air.

Got some great practice talking thru cut plans and and working deliberately. Fairly straightforward, but this stuff can mess you up quick if you're not thinking it through. Nice day to cut, even though it was more like a mile from the truck rather than a quarter mile! 🥵🥵

Nonstandard tools. Foot powder spray for leak analysis. Way more tidy than baby powder, plus works upside down. We'd have saved a new countershaft kit on the if I'd cleaned up properly and seen the shift shaft seal was the culprit.
