QC Girls Lacrosse vs. Kingfisher Lacrosse

The second semifinal featuring Dubuque and Meskwaki will follow.

The semifinal winners will battle for the inaugural Eastern Conference title!

It's a great opportunity to spend the day cheering on QC Girls Lacrosse from our youngest players to our high school athletes competing for a conference championship. Let's fill the sidelines with purple and gold and show our QC pride!

💜🥍 Senior Spotlight: Halie Hicks 🥍💜

Meet Halie Hicks, senior goalie from United Township High School! 🎓🥍

Halie has been playing lacrosse for 9 years after what was supposed to be deck hockey registration somehow turned into lacrosse instead 😄 — and the rest is history!

As a goalie, Halie loves being the last line of defense (and says one of the perks is not having to run as much 😂). Her favorite moments in lacrosse are the feeling after a big win and recently signing to continue her lacrosse career at Cornell College next year! 💜🔥

One skill she’s focused on improving is stopping low shots, and she loves competing during 8-meter situations.

Halie says one of the best things about QC Girls Lacrosse is how flexible the program is with other activities and the lifelong friendships she’s built: “I’ve known most of these girls since I was 11.” 💜

Her advice to younger players: “Keep with it, it gets easier.”

Halie is excited to finish out her final season with this team and continue growing both on and off the field as she heads to Cornell College with plans to become a forensic psychologist. ✨
