Smooth sailing starts with some closures, let the paving begin!!!

Closure for repaving of the KGT near Mount Vernon begins Wednesday (Sept 2). The trail will be closed from Mount Vernon Ave to Star Road. Detouring the .7-mile closure involves using Lower Gambier Road (which parallels the trail) and Star Road. Detour signs will be posted.

Repaying starts next week!

Milling and repaving of the KGT is to begin next Wednesday (Sept 2) at the Mount Vernon terminus. The entire trail will be resurfaced and sections of the trail will be closed as the work progresses east over the coming weeks. Detours will be posted. Work is weather dependent.
