MV Wrestling proudly supports all of our multi sport athletes in all their endeavors, and nothing makes us more happy then when they stand out for the right reasons! This is just one of those many examples. Trevan Bell was just recognized for his display of sportsmanship in our recent game against Gibson Southern by the officials of the game and it was reported directly to the IHSAA.
“Trevan Bell demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship during his football game against Gibson Southern on Friday, September 4th. In a highly contested, back-and-forth game, Trevan went above and beyond to demonstrate sportsmanship toward the opposing team by helping players up after tough plays and showing a positive attitude throughout the contest. Trevan modeled the type of exemplary behavior the IHSAA is looking for during an athletic contest. He represented the Mt. Vernon High School football team and school with outstanding sportsmanship and character.”
