Horse Progress Days is coming to Illinois!

Join the community in Arcola on July 3–4, 2026, for the 32nd annual Horse Progress Days — a unique event celebrating horse-powered agriculture, family farms, and small-scale sustainable farming.

This year’s event will be hosted at the Lavern Yoder Farm in rural Arcola and will feature field demonstrations, horse-drawn equipment, seminars, food, children’s activities, breed presentations, and more.

We want to post a reminder that there are no ATVs, dirt bikes or motorized vehicles allowed on the trails, grounds or arenas. A 4-wheeler and dirt bike were cutting cookies on the grounds and running through the trails.

We like to have fun as much as the next person but again for the SAFETY OF EVERYONE only equines should be at the King City Saddle Club.

Reminder: We do have the grounds under camera
