As many of you probably know by now, we have sold the course. Hiawatha has been at the heart of the Harold Crouch family for 58 years. It was a difficult decision for us to make, but it was time. It will be a major life change for our entire family, but we have many wonderful memories to get us through this adjustment: the Knox County Opens (in rain, snow, wind, and if we got lucky, sunshine - the Potato Open carried on), Cal-Scrams, Mike Crouch Memorial and other tournaments and outings, the leagues, the school golf teams, and of course all the holiday celebrations, birthdays, engagements, weddings, baby showers, graduation parties, memorial receptions, and we can’t forget the “round table” discussions. Our family enjoyed all of these, but so did many other families. The best memories of all will be the ones our wonderful golfers have given us. We will miss every one of you so much. We weren’t just a “business”, we were a family business, and everyone who walked through the clubhouse door, became part of our family. We thank each one of you, whether you were a golfer or not, for your patronage, your friendship, and your support through all the good and not so good years. We will keep you in our hearts forever.
