Sometimes initials look perfect, especially when the "official" current issue plate is particularly descriptive. “What a great gift. The old Locomobile never looked better.” 1909 Locomobile Model 30, Type L Landaulet. — Bobby Babcock

"Hi Steve
The leather plates you made for me look great! Here are a few pictures of the plates on my 1910 Stanley Steamer.

While I hadn't been to Chickasha Swap Meet since 2019 (pandemic closure and last year's personal medical requirements) I was determined to get to Oklahoma. Two of us from Washington State and our two friends from Australia joined forces and had a great time. For me personally (LeatherPlates.com) it was a very successful trip. Here's a photo of my output after getting home from the swap meet. Not shown are three additional plates including two for NY using the white leather with black numbers and monograms. Thanks for our great customers, your business is appreciated.

“Love the plate. The car is a 1911 Ford Model T Touring restored in the 1970’s. We take it out on 4 or 5 tours each year. In 2012 we took it to Indiana for their 4 Day Covered Bridge Tour. It is currently on display/loan in the Angels Camp, CA Museum.” — Bob Petithomme

Alan and Mary Travis in their earliest car, a 1898 Jeanperrin Voitturette Vis A Vis. There's only one cylinder, but it's a large one at better than 81 cubic inches. Water cooled and a 3 speed transmission. A weight of 600 lbs and an easy 30 mph. Congratulations to the Travis's for recreating this great example of very early automotive history. BTW, nice looking license plate!
