Cassie's relentless commitment to the success of Skagit Valley College, the Athletic Department, and her fellow student athletes demonstrates the true meaning of what an Athlete of the Year should strive for. She not only achieved great success on the field, but also as a role model, leader, and scholar off the field. Cassie's dedication to her education, her sport and her teammates is nothing short of admirable and is a true testament to what an Athlete of the Year should represent. Cassie Mullin is a 2-year team captain and a (COVID) 3rd year player that started for us in every game for 2 seasons. She was also named to the NWAC North Region All Star First Team in both the Fall 2021 and 2022 seasons. Cassie was eligible to move on after the Fall Season of 2021 but was committed to the team and to see through her last year of eligibility here at SVC. She continued to balance school, sports, and working in athletics as well as supporting her fellow student athletes at their games/matches during her time her. She graduated SVC with a 3.6 GPA and is now at WWU majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Anthropology.
