2026 Alumni Game will be cancelled.

Thank you to those that signed up to play, but we unfortunately came up quite a few players short to play the game.

For next year, we will do things differently to attempt to get more players. We will post a few dates in February or March to see which date works better for players to participate.

We’ll try to play the game in May or early June to avoid some of the extreme heat and people going on vacations.

Thank you to everyone for sharing the post and trying to recruit players. I had several people reach out hoping to play, but were tied up with other activities or going away on vacation.

Still recruiting players for the alumni game.

Please spread the word and recruit more players for Saturday, July 11th. As of now, there are only 8 confirmed players. I’m thinking we need at least 12-14 more because I don’t think everyone signed up can play the entire game.

Please message me on this page or text my cell phone if you are interested in playing. If we don’t have enough by Monday, July 6th, we’ll have to cancel the game.

A Dark Day In Mount Union.

Yesterday, our Trojans lost their biggest supporter. A guy that showed up for every game. A guy that knew each player and cheered them on with every ounce of school spirit. A guy that you knew was at the game just by hearing his voice.

He celebrated each win just as if he was wearing the uniform with the team. He believed every year we would make it to State College to play on the Spikes’ field for a state championship.

Russell Booher, we’re going to miss you! Games will definitely be different without you in bleachers.

While you’re watching down over the team in the future, slide over to Coach Imperioli and say, “Tell him to throw the curveball!”

We’re about a month away and still looking for players. I’ve had a few sign up and a few that played last year that can’t make it.

Tag people, message people, tell them to reach out if they’d like to play.

2nd Annual Alumni Game

Saturday, July 11th @ 4:00

Now that the high school season has ended, it’s time for the seasoned vets to dust off their spikes and gloves and stretch out those hamstrings.

Any former player or coach that was associated with the Mount Union High School baseball team can sign up to participate. Please send a message to this page, PM, or reach out to Tim Hicks if you are interested in playing.

Once we see how many players are available, we’ll release more information on the details of the game.

This is a fundraiser being run by the Mount Union CHAMP captains. Come out and support a great cause and watch the legends of the past relive their high school baseball days.

For tomorrow’s state playoff game versus Saegertown, ticket scanners will start allowing spectators in at 2:15. Have your ticket ready.

Enter the baseball facility at either end of the parking lot. You may scan from your car and then park in the back parking lot, or park around the school and have your ticket scanned when walking to the field.

Multiple concession options will be available.

Team warmups start at 2:50, lineups and national anthem around 3:50, and first pitch at 4:00.
