One of the greatest things about baseball is that it’s more than just a game—it’s a family. Rivalries are put aside, team colors don’t matter, and communities come together when one of our own needs support. Over the last few days, we’ve seen the baseball world unite in prayer, love, and encouragement for Xavier and his family.
God has a way of reminding us that we are never fighting alone. We continue to pray that Xavier’s vitals keep moving in the right direction, that his body grows stronger each day, and that he makes a full recovery. Every prayer, every kind word, every shared post, and every show of support matters.
Please continue to keep Xavier, his family, friends, teammates, and medical team in your prayers. The baseball community is strong, and together we will continue to lift him up. ⚾️❤️🙏
Lifting Xavier up all the way from Kentucky!!💙

Xavier Taylor’s father shared the update that people have been waiting for.
His vitals are stable. He is off blood pressure medication. He is receiving nutritional care. He remains on a ventilator but the numbers are moving in a direction that gives his family reason to hold on.
And this week, Phillies catcher Garrett Stubbs did not just send a message.
He walked into that hospital room himself, sat beside a 12-year-old boy from Maple Shade who loves baseball more than almost anything in the world, and left him a signed bat.
A Major League Baseball player showed up in person for a kid he has never met because Xavier’s story traveled that far and meant that much.
Outside the hospital, the love has not let up. Families are still placing bats on their porches. Blue is still everywhere. His number 6 is still being worn by teams across the country. The Ben Franklin Bridge lit up. Camden City Hall lit up. The Trenton Thunder honored him on the field.
And now a Phillies catcher sat at his bedside.
Xavier has a team. A big one. And they are not going anywhere.
Please keep praying for Xavier and his family. Leave them a message in the comments below.
