One of the biggest misconceptions I see after 50 is this:
โ€œI just need to lose weight.โ€

In reality, losing muscle is the bigger problem.

After our mid-30s, we naturally lose muscle each year unless we actively work to keep it. This process is called sarcopenia.

Less muscle means:
โ€ข Slower metabolism
โ€ข Weaker joints
โ€ข Less balance
โ€ข Higher fall and injury risk

Strength training isnโ€™t about looking muscular.
Itโ€™s about staying independent and capable.

We opened our doors in August 2016 but is not our first location.

Our original location is located in the heart of Seattle, WA and we have been thriving since October 2009. Our coaching motto is, if you aren't learning something at each session then we aren't doing our job.
