Eric is a Class A PGA Professional elected to membership in January 2006. While attending Ferris, Eric interned at The Golf Learning Center at Sea Island Golf Club. At Sea Island, Eric worked with some of the nation's top golf instructors including Jack Lumpkin, Todd Anderson, Gal

e Peterson, and Mike Shannon. Eric also interned at Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, CT and Crystal Lake Country Club in Crystal Lake, IL. Additionally, Eric contributed to the merchandising operation at the 2004 Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills Country Club. Upon graduation, Eric worked at Preston Trail Golf Club in Dallas, TX as an Assistant Golf Professional. There he was involved in all aspects of the golf business including merchandising, tournament operations, management of staff, and individual/group instruction. Eric was an active player in the North Texas PGA section tournaments, placing T14th in the 2006 Section Championship (72-70-75) and 13th in the 2006 Assistant’s Championship (76-70). Eric enjoys teaching golfers of all skill levels. He believes that all students have the potential to improve their game. Eric stresses the basic fundamentals of golf including posture, grip, alignment and balance. He caters to individual needs, stressing each golfer’s strengths while developing their weaknesses. He has a strong interest in promoting youth development. Eric volunteers his time coaching Maine South’s Boys Varsity and Frosh/Soph Golf Teams. Originally from Park Ridge, IL, Eric is excited to be back in the Chicagoland area and is looking forward to a successful season.
