RedLine Legacy BMX is here to share memories of the early days, honor RedLine's past, present and future, and to showcase my highly authentic re-creations of RedLine classics. My father is Linn Kastan, co-founder of RedLine and legendary BMX innovator. I can't remember a time without RedLIne and I have lots of history to share, from an informal family perspective. I'll be showcasing my ultra authe

ntic re-creations of early RedLine classics, the original RedLine machinery used to make them and the steps it takes to do it.

RedLine BMX machinery from the 1970s! This is a short summary video of when I picked it all up. More to come! A similar video was my first post when I started with zero followers, so I thought I'd share it again.

Re-creating the Red Line Deep "V" Bar! Part one is bending. This is a quick version with a longer form version covering all stages and the machinery in detail coming soon. If this is interesting to you, keep an eye out.

Just a couple of Random old pics. #20 is my Dad, Linn Kastan, tearing it up at Hopetown (Corriganville) in Simi Valley, wearing his Red Line sweatshirt and some super sweet goggles! #23 is Mike Bush, RIP. Great guy. Great family. This picture was taken at the photoshoot for the 1980 RedLine catalog. The last pic is the book of Red Line slides that it came from. There are hundreds of shots that have never been seen before. If you zoom in, you may recognize the team line up photo that has been seen a lot. Theres at least 20 of those that didn't get used. I'll post one here and there.

Hey RedLine family. Curt Kastan here, wishing you all a Happy New Year! I am now RedLine Legacy BMX across all channels and 2026 is going to be a fun year for us early RedLine fans - particularly from its founding through 1980. I'll be celebrating my dad’s important contributions to BMX, sharing RedLine history from a family perspective and honoring the brand we love… past, present and future, which includes all of you. You’ll see my super authentic re-creations of RedLine favorites from two distinct approaches: "Legacy" and "Custom Shop". The latter involves an amazing story about a 40’ flatbed full of original Redline machinery, used in the 1970s. I’ll be elaborating - extensively! My posts will be a bit on the real and raw side, because that's me. Hope you're cool with that!

The FaceBook page is “RedLine Legacy BMX”, the Facebook group is “Redline Legacy BMX Group”. Both are starting from absolute ZERO, like right now! So, I’m hoping you'll help me explode this thing by liking, joining, following, tagging, sharing and everything else that we do here. I'm depending on you!

Product listings are disabled on the website at the moment, but it's about a lot more than selling, so check it out. To see what's going on in the shop at any given time, click the "Projects" menu tab for some RedLine Custom Shop action. And the “Machinery” tab to get a preview of that story. It’s pretty amazing.

The entire Kastan family can’t wait to hear and see your RedLine memories in this group. I sincerely mean that!
