CMU Rebels Rugby

CMU Rebels Rugby CMU Rebels are based in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Founding members of the newly established Div I MAC Women's rugby conference.

The Central Michigan Women's Rugby Club (Rebels) gives women an opportunity to play a full contact club sport. The Rebels were established in 1994 and competed in the Michigan Rugby Union Women’s Collegiate D II division for many years. The Rebels play two seasons with a competitive schedule in fall for a chance to go to the national playoffs and a social and tournament season in the spring. Rugby

is a sport that originated in England but is becoming an increasingly popular sport in the United States. Rugby contains the contact of American Football and the constant and fluid movement of soccer. There is a place on the field for all body shapes and no experience is necessary. Rugby is a great way to stay active, learn something new, and make friendships that will last far past your college career.
