This knife is my version of the knife Tom Beringer had in the movie Last of the Dog Men. It’s a full tang 80crv2 steel blade. File work goes around the entire handle. The handle wood is curly maple that has a special finish applied by the person who the knife was made for. I had the handle shaped and hand sanded to 600 grit. He took it home and spent another ten hours on the handle. It’s the most beautiful finish I’ve ever seen.

Just finished this Twisted W Damascus for a custom order for a young man in Alaska.

The handle is dyed curly maple. It has a 4 1/2” blade with filing detail on decorative spacers.

This was a custom order for a musician, which inspired the guitar string Damascus. If you look down the spine, you’ll see 3 mother of pearl fret markers, like those found on guitar neck.

I’ve been up to something. Spent over 130 hours on my first guitar string Damascus knife, very excited to share the final result.

Just finished helping my friend make his first knife. It came out really nice.

The handle was cut out of a 3 ft maple burl, the diameter of the tree itself was 4 ft wide. The blade is 3” in length with 80crv2 carbon steel heat treated to 60 hrc. The sheath is hand sewn out of Herman Oak leather with a ulti clip that holds it very securely.

Ed mentored an Amish friend on this knife, he had never made a knife before. 3 days were spent working on it and this is what he came up with. He will use it to process his animals.
