What an incredible way to kick off Round 1 of the Smokey Pines MX Race Series presented by Hillview Motorsports! This weekend was about more than just racing. It was about family, friendship, and the motocross community coming together for something truly special.

The Jimmy Stokes Memorial was an unforgettable moment that touched the hearts of everyone in attendance. Seeing riders, families, friends, and supporters line up to honor Jimmy’s memory was nothing short of amazing. There were tears, smiles, hugs, and stories shared throughout the day as everyone reflected on the impact Jimmy had on so many lives.

We want to thank every rider who lined up at the gate and made Round 1 such an exciting day of racing. The energy, sportsmanship, and passion shown by everyone was incredible.

Thank you to all of our riders, moto families and community members who came out to support the event. Seeing everyone gathered together enjoying the sport we all love is what Smokey Pines MX is all about.

A special thank you goes out to all of dedicated riders and families who spent their time helping pick rocks while walking the track and to the Smokey Pines MX Team. The work that happens behind the scenes is what makes race day possible, and we are truly grateful.

The gates open at 6 am tomorrow 6/14/2026, the track is being prepped, and it’s time to go racing at Smokey Pines MX! 💨🏍️

It is also a very special day as we honor and remember our friend, Jimmy Stokes. ❤️

Online registration is open now and will remain open until 8:00 AM tomorrow, so be sure to get signed up before it closes!

The Smokey Pines MX crew is hard at work getting the track dialed in and ready to ride! The dirt is being prepped, the equipment is rolling, and conditions are shaping up for an awesome weekend.

At Smokey Pines MX, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by people who believe in what we’re building and aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to help make it happen.

A special thank you goes out to Zundel Construction Cod all of the amazing volunteers who donated their time, equipment, skills, and hard work to help complete our new announcer’s tower and podium. This project would not have been possible without your generosity and dedication.

Every hour spent, every piece of equipment brought to the track, and every helping hand played a part in turning this vision into reality. The support from our motocross family continues to amaze us, and it’s a reminder that Smokey Pines MX is more than just a track—it’s a community.

A huge thank you to Hillview Motorsports for providing the new track markers. With the new layout, these markers help improve track visibility for riders while giving the facility a professional look. They look absolutely awesome, and we can’t wait for everyone to see them.

Shout out to Mike Ament Construction, LLC for providing equipment to help make this project possible and to Ament Landscaping Co. for supplying the gravel that helped bring everything together.
