We are regrettably apologetic in having to send this correspondence to everyone today. With the storms last night and little sleep involved and the fact that I am having difficulty in walking, we will need to cancel the event today. All fees paid will be refunded in full. I am in contact with those that texted me after registration ended.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience for today. I wished I could have done better.

Glad to have the opportunity to get back to the range today to participate in Robert Standley's MTSA club event. Good course design and fun participating. It was truly an honor see some familiar faces.

We have both USPSA matches held in April posted to practiscore.com. Thank you for your consideration.

USPSA and Steel Challenge affiliation has been completed. We will be setting up matches for your consideration this weekend. We will only be hosting two matches per month. 1 Steel Challenge per quarter.

Well, it is a new year. Not much shooting in 2022. Six matches total, I think.

As some of you are aware, I left retirement in late December 2021 and went back into the work force. Last year brought many challenges after many years of pretty much nothing productive. Sure, that sounds awful......but I just did setup, run shooting matches to pass time for a hobby that became more like work over the many years.

Going into the workforce was difficult and rewarding. Started off as a peer in the group. Within 4 months, my hiring manager official declared retirement (I knew about his retirement during the interview phase). I could not accept his position on day one. I requested that we follow company policy and wait the 90 days. It ensured that it was done right. He is officially leaving the company on January 31st as my employee. Weird........... Taking the management role was beneficial. It gained a 38K increase in pay and 10% bonus. This also required major sacrifices. Performing billable services that the company agreed to do and did not have previous experience with it. Many weekends doing Disaster Recovery, getting the company's Infrastructure in order from many years of disarray, just to being plain tired sometimes working 16 plus hours because of tireless meetings during the day. Long story.........

Short results following: In the next two weeks after many nights and planning, we are officially closing our brick and mortar in other states and remaining in the Franklin location for the corporate HQ. We are not reducing staff. Before January 30th, I will be migrating all of the company's data from the office to our datacenter in Charlotte, NC. This has been a 3 yearlong project previously. I will be traveling (last time) to NC the next day and removing the Infrastructure team's hardware from that office and migrate it Franklin as a DR site for our data center.

No more weekend conflicts after February. Even with my two most prized material possessions (CZ Accu-Shadow and CZ Shadow 2, which were both gifts) gone, I am having the urge in getting back to something that meant a lot to me for so many years. I will not be doing every weekend like before. That was a task and many times setup was a burden. We will be coming back to at least two events per month.

Still haven't committed to the charity event for the 3-man 3-gun military event in October. I am donating my time and equipment but haven't worked out the range fees / weapons rentals.
