🏃♀️🏃♂️ Cross Country Competes at Mineola Invitational
The Red Devil Cross Country teams hit the course at the Mineola Invitational, putting forth a strong effort and representing their school with determination and pride.
🔴 Varsity Girls
The Varsity Girls were led by Elizabeth McKellar, who finished 58th with a time of 13:55. Kaelynn Russell followed with a time of 15:20, placing 103rd, while Kimberlee Carter finished 137th with a time of 16:50.
🔴 JV Girls
Viktorya Fortenberry represented the JV Girls, finishing 79th with a time of 19:07.
🔴 Varsity Boys — 11th Place Team Finish
The Varsity Boys put together a solid team performance, finishing 11th as a team.
Moises Netro led the Red Devils with a 17th-place finish in 16:06, followed by Andres Delgado, who finished 34th in 16:47. Sloan Abbott crossed the line in 56th with a time of 17:44, while Sean Acuna finished 76th in 18:15.
Jose Renteria finished 86th in 18:33, Gavin Swafford placed 131st with a time of 20:51, and Diego Cedillo finished 139th in 21:48.
🔴 JV Boys
The JV Boys were led by Javier Chavez, who finished 15th in 18:44. Jaxon Lake followed in 43rd with a time of 21:17, while Nathan Martinez finished 105th in 24:53.
Overall, the Red Devils showed heart, effort, and determination throughout the Mineola Invitational. Every runner contributed to another opportunity to compete, improve, and build toward the rest of the season.
