Come join us for the only 5k road race located in the Old Village or Mount Pleasant, SC. Enjoy yourself down the beautiful and scenic streets of The Old Village located in the heart of Mount Pleasant. You will disc

over a past full of colonial architectural design and wonderful harbor views, which will take you back to the Old Village, Mount Pleasant. This year, the Town of Mount Pleasant Recreation Department is teaming up with TimingInc.com and Green Foot Events to help with the race management and event production. This year’s event will have a USATF Certified course with clearly marked mile marker and a clearly marked course. Returning this year as our feature artist is Tate Nation. Tate has provided prints for the winners over the past several years and we are excited to have him back. The race starts and finishes at the historic Alhambra Hall overlooking the Charleston harbor. This is the revival of the Labor Day 5k formerly done with the Daniel Island Happy Hour Events prior to covid. WE ARE BACK!!... but we have moved to Palmetto Island County Park. The Labor Day 5K Run/Walk is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. It will be the same great time as we celebrating the achievements and contributions of workers in America.

Due to some major construction at Alhambra Hall, we are having to change the start/finish location of the Old Village Harbor 5k run. The course will remain the same, but the finish will be at James B. Edwards Park. ( 320 Royall Ave, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464 ) Sorry for the inconvenience, but the entire property at Alhambra Hall has been consumed by construction. We still look forward to an amazing event for the Old Village's only running event! Look forward to seeing you all there!!
