Congratulations to Central Michigan University alumna Renee Parsons, ’91, and her husband, Bob, on being named to the prestigious TIME100 Philanthropy list for 2026. 👏

Through The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, the couple has given more than $360 million to causes supporting veterans, education, health care, youth and first responders — creating hope and changing lives along the way. Their generosity has even touched us here at CMU. 🔥⬆

In February, the foundation launched a $350,000 grant that enabled Central Michigan Athletics to launch EmpowHER Leadership, a women’s student-athlete program designed to cultivate confidence, resilience, and career readiness through mentorship, experiential learning, and community impact.

The program will make a meaningful impact on many student-athletes for years to come. Congrats again, Renee and Bob, on your well-deserved recognition! Fire Up Forever!
