So since there are some negative comments about the beer at the lake that was not purchased, let me further explain why it was posted. Since we have our beer license, if we allow any beer or alcohol brought on to the premises we can be fined. We have the rules posted on the side of the bait house if anyone would like to stop and read them. So while some may think we are being “controlling” it’s our rear ends that will be charged the fine.
Rules will forever be rules. And since it is our lake, we have to run it in the best way that we can for our family and for other people‘s families to come and enjoy. And what is sad is that we should not have to get on here and explain ourselves to grown adults that know that there are rules to be followed. I would say the same adults that violate our rules would not have the gumption to go in to a bar and take their own beer and sit down and not purchase a single one from the bar. And for furthermore would not leave stuff just laying for others to take and pick up. We do believe in everyone having a good time, but there is no sense and not taking and picking up after yourselves a little bit too. We have garbage cans, lined along each side of the lake.
