Aidan was a young man with outstanding character. In the time he spent with Mafia Baseball, doing lessons mostly, I do not know of a young man that was more respectful and likable. He was fun to talk to and you hated to see his time end when lessons were over. The world lost a real winner and just a great person. MAFIA Baseball will be keeping the Doss family in its prayers.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news that former Mortimer Jordan High School baseball player and Class of 2022 graduate, Aidan Doss, was killed in a car accident early this morning.
Aidan was a tremendous young man who made a lasting impact on our program and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a hard worker, a fierce competitor, and an outstanding sidearm pitcher. More importantly, he was an incredible teammate, always bringing a positive attitude and encouraging those around him. Aidan was simply a great human being, and his loss is a heartbreaking one for our community and our MJ Baseball family.
While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Aidan is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Tim, Kim, Avery, and Ashton — on behalf of the entire Mortimer Jordan Baseball program, we extend our deepest condolences. Please know that you are loved by so many, and we will continue to lift your family up in our prayers in the days and weeks ahead. May God’s grace, peace, and comfort surround you during this incredibly difficult time.
