Our season was a journey filled with both challenges and triumphs. From day one in August, this team has shown incredible resilience and dedication, and I could not be prouder of these boys and the hard work they’ve put in. Finishing the season with a strong 11-3-2 record was no small feat. These young men have grown tremendously, not only as athletes but as individuals who trust and support each other on and off the field.
Every team I coach teaches me something new, both about the sport and how to become a better coach. These boys, in particular, taught me that a team can bring plenty of agida during a game but still find a way to come out on top. They showed me a level of resilience and grit that I didn’t expect from a freshman team, and it was enlightening to watch and learn from them throughout the season.
They learned to rely on each other like true brothers. They had their moments of disagreement, but when it mattered, they stood side by side, ready to fight for each other and for this team. Watching them grow into a close-knit unit has been one of the most rewarding parts of this season.
I have no doubt that the lessons they learned this year will carry them forward. I look forward to seeing each of them continue to develop, take on new challenges, and rise to fill their roles within this program. The future is bright for these young men, and I’m excited to see all they will accomplish.

“Not everyone is granted a second chance, which is why I emphasize to my teams and players the importance of making the most of every opportunity. Whether it’s ten seconds or ten minutes, the focus should always be on giving your absolute best effort, every moment you’re on the field and the game will take care of the rest. I was fortunate enough to be given a second chance to coach the game I love, and I’m committed to making the most of it every time I step onto the field. To me, this game is more than just a competition it’s an art and when everything comes together, it creates a masterpiece. Always fight for that second chance, and when it comes, make sure you don’t let it slip away.”

Quitters Never Win and Winners Never Quit! This season has been a lot but these boys are not quit. Excited to see the second half of their season. Congrats to the seniors for doing their thing.

Each coaching opportunity is a learning benefit for myself, I always like to say that I teach the players but truly they teach me every day learning and growing its all part of the job. The coaches on this team have truly given me more insight to the game. SET your goals and get after it today!

Coaching has always been more than winning and losing. Anyone can put 11 players on a field and say play but to put a team together is different. You have to be willing to trust your players and in return they trust you.

This team has worked extremely hard to be where they are right now and as a coach regardless of the season they have formed a unit that will battle together and be there for one another and that is why I am proud of them. This is why I do what I do, soccer to many is just a sport but to the SET program coaching is a way of life!

Yes these boys give me agita every game but I wouldn't want it any other way.
