Dickinson College Equestrian Team

Official page of the Dickinson College Equestrian Team, a club sport at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. We compete in Zone 3, Region 1 of IHSA.

We compete Hunter/Equitation. You do not have to show to be on the club! Come learn to ride and get to know how to be around horses! We are a Club on Dickinson Campus. Girls usually ride once a week for a discounted price depending on how well fundraising goes. The original price for an hour lesson is $60.

We are so proud of everything you have done for the team, and we can’t wait to see you come back for occasional visits :) Murphy will miss you so much, but we know you are off to doing great things as a medical assistant at a pediatrics office, and later going to PA school! Fav Memory: when she had made it to my first ever zones qualification and the entire team was waiting to cheer me on with the biggest hugs and support i’ve ever received! i also admire all the amazing car rides we’ve had to the barn and to IHSA competitions, this is truly where i have created the most memories and laughed the biggest laughs with my entire team. I will truly never forget the lifetime friendships and memories i have made these past 4 years!

Fav Memory: Just being a part of a really supportive team, in a sport that I’ve competed as an individual all my life. Also, I loved making tons of friends, joking around at team dinners, and getting four more extra years of riding than I thought I would after high school.

NATIONALS 2026!!! What an amazing weekend for our DET riders!! We are so proud of both Maye Stichter ‘26 and Daisy Ballantine ‘29 for competing at Tryon International for the IHSA nationals competition 🌟 You both did an outstanding job and should be proud! The team had an amazing trip to NC! Thank you for hosting IHSA nationals! 🤍 And a huge thank you to our riders for all your hard work this past year, and we are excited for another amazing season coming up!!

Swan Lake day 2! Another reserve champion in the books!! WOOHOO DET!!! We are killing it ❤️🥈 So proud of all ponies and riders during this long weekend! So grateful to be such a hard working and accomplished team here at Dickinson College! now to prepare for our last show after spring break and regionals!! Congrats to all our regional qualifiers! 🤍
