Lake County Dragon Boat Club is a high spirited, fun loving yet competitive group of people who enjoy the dynamic and fast paced international sport of dragon boating. We area non-profit 501 (c)3 organization that was born out of the desire to promote the healthy benefits of competitive dragon boat racing while also contributing to charities that benefit our local community.

Atlanta, you were a wild ride!

Heat 1: we tried something new… let’s just say it looked better in theory than in ex*****on. 😅
Heat 2: back to the tried-and-true and the boat felt strong but took the scenic route across the lanes... because why go straight when you can show off the whole course, right?

We made the Grand Finals! But Mother Nature decided to crash the party. ⛈️ Even with our first heat looking like chaos, the Cru still walked away with BRONZE!... Because that's how the Cru rolls🥉💪🥳

Back at the house- honestly? That’s when the real magic happened—we turned into movie directors & actors, karaoke rockstars 🎤, foosball legends, pool hustlers and even crowned a brand-new Mahjong champ.

We took home the bronze, but the belly laughs? Solid gold, baby. 🥇😂

BIG love to our amazing Cru cooks, cleanup Cru, schleppers and every Cru member who gave it their all.

So Atlanta, we’ll be back… and straighter next time. 😉
