Grottoes scored 5 runs in the first inning tonight and our comeback fell just a little short as the Cardinals take Game 5 by a final score of 8-5 and complete the comeback from being down 2-0 in the series.

We finish the season with a record of 21-10.

The RCBL Finals between the 3-seed Grottoes and 5-seed Bridgewater begins on Saturday night.

Game 5 tonight! Winner takes on Bridgewater in the RCBL Championship series beginning on Saturday night!

Grottoes forces a winner-take-all Game 5 with a 7-1 victory in Game 4.

The game had an hour rain delay in the top of the 5th inning, and the game was stopped in the bottom of the 7th since we could not start a new inning after 3 hours from first pitch.

Game 5 is Thursday night at Monger Park at 7:00 PM. The winner goes onto the RCBL Finals and the loser will see their season come to an end.

Izaiah Matthews threw a complete game and allowed just three hits while Sam Barber went 4-4 with 5 RBI and two home runs!
