We are pleased to announce the start of a new season of Jr Aces Golf!! The new season for Jr Aces golf begins in March with the first practice taking place on Thursday, March 5th. An informational meeting for interested 6th-8th grade students and their parents will be held next Thursday, February 26th, at the Mt. Carmel Grade School library at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be conducted by Coaches Abbey Carpenter and Karin Kelsey.

Elyse, a State Champion and College-signed Lady Ace, is a highly experienced swing coach who can offer expert guidance on all clubs and putting techniques. Jr Lady Aces finished the season with Lola and Sarah advancing to the State tournament. The girls posted good scores: Lola 102 and Sarah 119. We had a good day and we were fortunate they didn't have the rain that Colton had to play in. We just had to walk around all the puddles! If you have never been to Kokopelli, it's a beautiful course but a very long walk for the girls. ⛳️
We are super proud of Sarah and Lola. The girls did not place in the top 10 but they had fun and they just keep getting better!!!

Mount Carmel MEDALIST Lola Meador and State Qualifier Sarah Ireland both advance to the State Tournament at Kokopelli Golf Club in Marion.
After the 9 hole tournament Lola was tied with Reddy from
Woodlawn.
Lola won the 1-hole playoff on hole #10.
Also playing today were Makenlee Seals and Abby McBroom.
I am so proud of this team! They have worked to improve their skills at practices and have just done great!

JR Lady Aces with their first team win of the season!🥇🏆
We traveled to Metropolis to play in a triangular with Massac County and Eldorado. It just takes 1 stroke and that's what we won by! Mt Carmel 166; Eldorado 167; Massac County 168.
For the team score we used Lola Meador's 51, Abby McBroom's 57 and Makenlee Seals' 58.
Congratulations to this team on their first win! Up next for the Lady Aces is Harrisburg next Tuesday.

MCJHS Girls Golf team had a dual match today at Salem Country Club.

Lola Meador tied for the Meadlist honors with Salem's Brynn K. Both girls carded 47's.

Teams scores were decided from the top three scores posted.

MCJHS hosted a golf match today with Carmi, NCOE and New Hope.
Medalist for the girls was Lola Meador and for the boys was Colton McGee both from Mt Carmel.
It was great to finally have a nice day where the teams could get out and play their first tournament this year!
