Did you know that mares get beans too? In the last 2 weeks I’ve gotten 5 beans from mares. It’s not as common as a geldings bean, but is definitely something that should be checked.

The best feeling in the world is getting a huge bean from a gelding, and they immediately take a big sigh, lick and chew. You can tell how instantly grateful they are and how much better they feel. Happens every time and makes my job so worth it.
