Everyone please give a loud round of applause for my new friend here, Oscar!

Oscar touches my heart, and is a great example of why I do what I do.

He has seen me twice now, and both times he has been fairly hesitant to get up on the slat mill on his own. I do not like to use force in my methods, and strive to make the slat mill a choice for the dogs I service. Oscar needs some extra love, play, and encouragement in order to feel confident to get up on the slat mill. He is lucky to have patient parents who are willing to stand there by his side to cheer him on.

Our sessions are filled with play, connection and praise. Once he gets the courage to hop on, he runs his little heart out!

A little patience can go a long way. Let Oscar be your reminder to have some patience and to take it easy today, as good things are worth waiting for.

Say hello to our new family member here at Mobile Dogs Run, Sully!

Bulldogs like Sully are often misunderstood and deemed as "unfit" for exercise due to their breed.

With proper knowledge, supervision and care, exercise such as running can be incredibly beneficial for this breed.

While they may be different, that should not dismiss the fact that they need proper exercise, as do the majority of dogs.

The use of a climate controlled dog gym can be a game changer for Brachycephalic dogs, and keep them safe while getting in their steps, especially during these warmer months!

Please give a warm welcome to Boh, our new friend here at Mobile Dogs Run!

Boh's mama came to me to see if Boh would be comfortable on a slat mill before buying one for their home. And if it is not obvious yet, he is very very comfortable!

This is just another example of the many uses of a mobile dog gym. Boh got to try something new in a safe, controlled, and professional environment, and his mom got to make an informed decision before investing in equipment.

Everyone please welcome the newest member of the Mobile Dogs Run fam, Mr. Ghost! Also known as pootie, poohtang, and pooty wooty. 🧡

Ghost, like many pitbulls, needs a unique outlet for his breed specific needs. Bully breeds are working dogs, and have intense requirments when it comes to physical activity and mental stimulation.

Slat mills can be a fantastic outlet for dogs like Ghost, and allow them to work without limits!

Way to go Ghost! 🐕🚐

🐶‼️Calling all dog lovers in Howard County and surrounding areas‼️🐶

By popular request, I will be at the Centennial Park next Friday 5/8 from 3pm-6pm for a meet and greet!

Bring your dog in for a FREE 10 minute session, or pay for a 30 minute session. Feel free to bring your own toys, treats, and what ever motivates your pup! ⚾️🦴

I have plenty of toys to go around on board, but I do not carry treats due to allergy risk.

In order to set you and your pup up for sucess, approach this new experience with patience and understanding. Every dog is different and may not be comfortable on the slat mill at first. Whether your pup is ready to run, or simply explore my van at their own pace, I am here to be their cheerleader every step of the way. I am taking new clients and am happy to schedule future sessions at the time of this event!🧡🚐🐕

Happy National Beagle Day from Mobile Dogs Run! 🐾
Today we want to shine some light on the unique characteristics of these little hounds, and discuss the harm this breed is often subjected to in many parts of the US and other countries.

Fun Beagle Facts:
-Beagles were initially bred in England to hunt small game and hare.
-They are pack hunters. Hunting in a pack of Beagles is called "Beagling".
-Beagles produce a distinct alert when they have caught scent or sight of their prey. This is often called Baying or the Melodic Bay. Hunters use this call to keep track of their pack.
- Beagles are known to be the most food motivated breed that exists.
- While they are known to be overweight due to this love for food, Beagles are actually incredibly athetic and have high stamina if worked properly. This is rooted in their ability to run for hours and miles, hunting their prey.
-Lastly, they are the most forgiving breed in the world. Rarely do they return aggression that has been projected onto them. This leads us to our next topic, that may be sensative for some.

Lab Testing and Beagles:
When most people think of animal testing, typically rodents such as mice, rats and rabbits come to mind. Beagles are one of the most common specimen for lab testing in the US. Hunderends of thousands of Beagles are subject to repeated abuse from birth, to the day they die. They are bred over and over again to be used for testing, and often never see sunlight, grass, or solid ground outside of their cage.
A common practice used in lab testing is the removal of their vocal cords to silence them simply for the convenience of the staff. Hearing a Beagle cry out is more difficult than causing an innocent animal life long suffering? Testing on Beagles is still legal in the US. But there are things you can do to advocate and help Beagles in suffering first hand.
- Donate to Beagle rescues who specialize in lab animals. Beagle Freedom Project, Triangle Beagle Rescue and The Beagle Alliance are great.
-Adpot or foster lab Beagles from rescues or shelters.
-Advocate for the Federal Beagle Bill.
-Share information with your peers.

Dax is a regular of mine, he and I hang out every Saturday!
He is on the older side, and his mama uses my services to add some spice to his life. The slat mill can be a more stimulating and engaging activity that is different from your typical walk through the neighborhood or trip to daycare!

His Mom and Dad are his biggest motivation. They never hesitate to jump in and cheer him on during his sessions!🥳 🔥
