Trail Update and Race Info!!

Kevin from Brew Keepers stopped by Grand Vue today to drop off their sponsorship check and check in on how preparations are progressing for the June 28 race!

We appreciate everything Kevin and his wife, Carolyn, do to support this event. From sponsoring the race to helping keep participants age 21 and over refreshed after crossing the finish line, they’re always willing to lend a hand and be part of the fun.

Thanks again for your continued support. We’re looking forward to a great race day!

Race day June 28th - Last day for t- shirt registration!
Needing a little help from our friends at Asplundh! We appreciate the Moundsville based Team that parks at Grand Vue for helping us with problem trees around our cabins and trails! This mess will be removed by race day!! We would have loved to see a video of how this went down! (The two trees are making a teepee and must have started to fall at the same time)

Volunteers are out today prepping for the West Virginia Interscholastic Cycling League race! Huge thanks to our WV Ridge Riders crew who help make this race possible at Grand Vue.

Between heavy equipment prepping the start/finish area and volunteers putting in the work, things are really coming together. Our maintenance team has also started w**d eating in key areas to get the trail ready for summer riding!

GV staff and some volunteers cleared 6 trees yesterday behind the barn area! Big thank you to Adam Campbell for playing a big part in winter cleanup/clearing! We have some volunteers out today between the barn and RV area removing some dead/dangerous pines to prepare for the NICA race in August!!! THANK YOU!

Our favorite time of the year! Get your young ones involved in mountain bike riding!

It’s getting real, y’all! Athlete registration is now open in Pit Zone.

Coaches, you can begin inviting new and retuning riders to the platform. Parents, if you’re new to the league, reach out to your team director or head coach to learn more about Pit Zone, our online athlete & coach management system.

We can’t wait to see you all out on the trails very soon!

Trail Update 4/1/26: We currently have a few trees down below the barn area, and we’re hoping to have those cleared by the end of the week. Before last night’s rain, the trails were shaping up really well, especially in the typically wet spots — we’ll be keeping an eye on how they respond after the heavier rainfall. There is a light amount of small debris on the trails, but overall, they are in great shape for this time of year.

The wind at Grand Vue is a bit of a double-edged sword… it helps dry the trails out quickly, but it can also bring down a few trees along the way. We truly appreciate all of the volunteers who have spent time helping clear and maintain the trails after the winter months — your hard work makes a big difference.
