Thank you so much! At first we were hesitant about hosting hunts for women. I have had some very odd experiences however, Ashley Holm changed everything the day she arrived with her group a couple years ago. I met ladies that I still interact with and she made me have faith in this process again. Learning something new shouldn’t be intimidating and scary, it should be exciting and fun! I strive to make everyone feel comfortable while providing an environment that fosters growth. We are real hunters, hunting real hunts. Nothing is a given and everything you get you earn. At the end of the day sharing all the stories while having a cold drink and warm food, there just isn’t anything like it. Thank you Lady Outdoor LifeStyles for being the group that fits that “real” way of the outdoors.
The time has come… ladies are starting to book and schedule hunts for the coming season. 🦃🦆🦌
For a lot of women, joining a group hunt can feel intimidating. Maybe you don’t know anyone in the group. Maybe you’ve never hunted that specific game animal before. Maybe you’re worried you won’t be “good enough.”
Here’s the truth: every single hunter started somewhere.
Some of the best hunts aren’t about the harvest at all, they’re about the laughs in the blind, the early mornings, the stories shared over coffee, and the friendships you didn’t expect to make.
So if you’re thinking about booking that hunt… just do it. Don’t let fear hold you back. Chances are, you’ll walk away with memories, confidence, and a whole new circle of hunting friends.
For the women who have already done it… what word of advice would you give someone considering their first group hunt but feeling a little hesitant? 👇
