Sue Stokes, Circulation Library Assistant, has been with the library for 32 years and at the end of this month she will retire to start a new chapter in her life. Sue has checked out thousands of books to library patrons, she has ordered thousands of books from other libraries through interlibrary loan for book groups and individuals in our community, and she has personally brought materials to those who can't make it to the library. Please join us in wishing Sue well in her retirement by stopping by during her last week at the library, June 22-26.

Update as of 6/16/25 3:04pm:
The f***l bacteria advisory has been lifted from Long Island Beach (Moultonborough Town Beach).

Additional sampling will take place in early July and early August.

Please Note: The swim lines at Long Island beach are being installed tomorrow, June 17th as we had to hold off installation due to the advisories to keep our staff safe.
