Good evening everyone,

Here are the results from yesterday's match. We had a smaller turnout than we have had for a few years but I don't think the weather helped. Despite the rain and windy conditions we had some small groups and tight competition. Ed shot a 1.282 for the smallest group of the day and Paul with the next smallest at 1.426, great job guys.

You'll notice on the Factory Class standings we had a bit of a "formula" issue. We'll get that straightened out for the next match.

The factory class top 3 are as follows:
- 1st Dan Kordus
- 2nd John Klimek
- 3rd Chuck Kavajecz

Jonathan had a great showing, 2.942 as our lone Tactical shooter.

I have also attached a picture showing our new 2nd & 3rd place plaques. They are laser etched from stainless steel. These are made and lasered by club officer Dustin Dahl and they look great. Huge shout out to Dustin for this year's addition. Thank you.

Reminder, our first Freedom Benchrest match of the year is coming up in a little less than 2 weeks.
- Saturday May 30th practice at 10am
- Sunday May 31st Freedom BR Match #1 at 8am

Then a busy few weeks with the Columbus FBR Match #3 on June 6th and back to Mosinee for FBR match #2 on June 14th.

Thank you for participating and a special thanks for those helped in the pits, on the firing line and in the scoring area. We couldn't do it without you all. Attached are the results, our yearly flyer and the FBR registration form if you want to print it out and have it filled out ahead of time.

Good evening fellow shooters,

This Saturday is our Vintage Team Sniper Match. If you need information regarding the match please see the prior post. I have spoken to a few folks recently and they were very curious and are going to stop out and see what's all about. Please check it out. I think you'll be impressed by the format and how the match is shot.

After that match Saturday (usually about 2pm) we will have 600yd BR practice.

Sunday is our first 600yd BR match of the year. This is a club match and points being earned for our club Shooter of the Year. Points are only awarded to club members for the SOY standings. Information can be found at our website on the calendar or reach out to me if needed. As I did last year I am asking those that plan on shooting the BR match to let me know ASAP and which classes you are shooting in. This will allow me to have a head start on setting up the relays. Also, bring your smartphone or tablet to pair up with our ShotMarker electronic targets.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

May 30 - 600yd BR practice 10:00am
May 31 - 600yd Freedom Benchrest Match #1

June 6 - Columbus Sportsman Association - 600yd Freedom Benchrest Match #3

June 13 - 600yd BR practice 10:00am
June 14 - 600yd Freedom Benchrest Match #2

***IMPORTANT****
If you want to practice this Saturday afternoon let me know ASAP.

The only change I see for next year is that FBR has implemented a $2 LG, $2 HG & $1 Tact fee per match this year. Also as a reminder you can get your yearly range pass from the Marathon County Parks & Recreation website after the first of the year. I encourage you to do so, it is handy and will save you money in the long run. That is all for now. As we get closer to the season we will be reaching out more and sending info and reminders. If you have any questions please reach out.

The MCRPC wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year's!! 🎄

Good morning everyone,

Please see the results of our last match of the year and the Shooters of the year results. Keep in mind when you're looking at the 9/7 match results for our Factory class the first 2 listed were Tact class, so the match winner was Roger and then Ed etc.... Thank you everyone for a great year and we hope to keep the momentum going next year. Also a huge shout out to Athlon Optics and Starline Brass for the product certificates for our EOY shooters awards. Much appreciated.
Congratulations Curt Knitt for LG, HG & 2 Gun EOY points winner and Ed Stankowski this year's Factory class points winner. Great job guys!
