Thursday night’s promotion was a great success, and I could not be more proud of all of our testers at Central WI Martial Arts Institute!

We are excited to announce 6 new Orange Belts (Pal Gup):
Hallie, Amy, Erik, Amberlyn, Ameliya, and Myles

These students bring great enthusiasm, positive attitudes, and hard work to class every night. Watching them grow in skill and confidence has been incredibly rewarding.

Congratulations also goes out to my son, Wyatt, on earning his Red Belt! After starting over 10 years ago, he is now just one step away from Black Belt. It has been an amazing journey to watch.

Great job to everyone who tested. Your dedication and perseverance continue to make our school proud!

Special thanks to Nate, Melissa, Masen, Mia and Jeff for helping out and keeping me from taking all the hits.

Flooding Update – Basement Area

We’re still dealing with ongoing water in the basement. Water is still coming in near the tanning bed, and we’re doing our best to stay on top of it throughout the day.

Because of the moisture, some of the floor tiles have started to loosen. We’ll need things to fully dry out before we can properly repair and secure them, so there may be a few soft or shifting spots in the meantime.

If you’re using equipment downstairs, please be extra careful—watch your footing and be aware of any uneven areas. Safety is our top priority.

The good news is the forecast looks dry this week, so we’re hopeful this will finally start to resolve and we can begin repairs.

I really appreciate everyone’s patience. I know it’s frustrating to have limited access, and I don’t take that lightly—we’re working hard to get everything back to normal as soon as possible.

My trip to Jackson, MS has been canceled due to the weather. I am cancelling classes tonight as well. We haven't seen the plow yet and the drifts are above my head in spots.

We will have normal classes on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
