🚨 Important Safety Update – Basement Area Closed 🚨

I want to keep everyone informed about the ongoing flooding situation in the basement.

In the past 24 hours alone, we’ve taken on over 2 inches of additional water, and despite being on-site multiple times per day, running the shop vac continuously, and rotating through 30+ large towels, we are no longer able to keep up with the inflow.

Earlier today, I was notified that a member slipped on the floor. Thankfully they appear to be okay, but that’s not a risk I am willing to take.

👉 Effective immediately, the entire basement is CLOSED until further notice.

This unfortunately means:

No access to leg equipment
No access to tanning
No access to locker rooms or sauna

An upstairs bathroom is still available, and the rest of the gym remains open.

I understand this is a significant inconvenience, and I truly appreciate your patience. We’ve been doing everything we can to manage the situation, but at this point, safety has to come first.

I will continue working on solutions and will keep everyone updated as things improve.

I want to be upfront with everyone about what’s been going on this past week.

The basement has been taking on water due to the spring thaw, and this year it’s been the worst we’ve seen. The water is actually coming up through the floor, so it’s not something we can easily stop—it’s something we’re managing throughout the day.

I’ve been coming in multiple times a day to stay on top of it and keep as much of the gym usable as possible, but I know this has affected your ability to use parts of the space.

I’m honestly frustrated by it, and I feel bad that it’s impacting you. That said, I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work through it.

Thank you for sticking with us—we don’t take that lightly.

FREE CARDIO AND WEIGHTS!!! HELL YEA!

Big thank you to whoever cut the first path to the door before I was able to get there. We were snowed in at home till after 6pm.

I know it has been a bit chilly in the gym. I had the heat guys out today and they found the problem but the part won't be here till next week. I cranked the heat up in the martial arts room and hopefully that will help a little. The sauna is nice and hot!!

Is one of these locks yours? I will be cutting them this weekend if they are not claimed. Just pull the note off that locker, write your name on it and put it under office door.

Sorry about the AC issues. We are aware of them and are just waiting for the HVAC guys to get in here and hopefully get them fixed. It is nice and cool in the basement. The AC works there. Make it a leg day!!

UPDATE: We are still wet in the basement. The water table is very high and it is still seeping in and making a mess. The basement equipment is available but the floors are super slippery so PLEASE be careful!! At this point I am trying to keep up with the water so it doesn't get too deep but they are calling for more tonight.

Please be careful if using the basement equipment. The gym doesn't like to be left out when it is flooding outside. I have used up every towel I have at this point plus some extras from home but the floor is still pretty wet. At this point I have to wait for it to just stop raining...which should be in a couple weeks it looks like!

Had a bit of flooding in the gym this morning but we are cleaning it up as fast as we can.

There are no lights in the basement bathrooms. I am hoping to get an electrician in there tomorrow to figure out what is wrong. There is a short somewhere causing the breaker to pop. Please use the bathroom upstairs. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Key not working? We are switching to a new system. Most keys should transfer fine if you are in the system properly and have a current membership. There were also keys assigned to businesses and names that did not match a current membership.

If you find that your key is not working then please send us a message on here and we will get it fixed for you pronto!
