Coming in from the time machine circa 1969....

One of our customers has entrusted us with a family bike for some work. We'll get the shine back and have it rolling like new.

It's not a Schwinn, but an All Pro. To my knowledge this model was made by Huffy for K-Mart, and is basically a Huffy Dragster III without the 3spd hub.

Fun fact for you BMX racers: the tire sizes you race today are actually 60+ year old Schwinn standards. Case in point, on this bike the rear tire is a 20x2.125 (iso 406) and the front is a 20x1-3/8 (iso 451).

I'm often told by out-of-town racers Moses Lake BMX is always friendly and the hospitality is great. Personally, I've always felt that to be true. It's not just the traditional volunteer positions on the track that make it happen; it's all of the volunteers roaming around filling water buckets, emptying trash, answering questions, fixing bikes, and supporting wherever they can.

A good friend of mine from another track tells me every time he visits Moses Lake BMX it's a little better. That's the best thing I heard this weekend.

It's all the volunteers. Not just at the races, but all the time that goes into this track. And our tireless TO.

Thanks to everyone that came out this weekend. We love your support and hope you had a blast.

But here are some of the volunteers who made for a smooth event. Shout out to Sarah and Rich for feeding the energy all day on the Mic and somehow escaped the pic, and huge shout out to Callie for keeping Race Manager under control and moto sheets flying out the printer 3 days straight.

Last but not least thanks to all the volunteers behind the scene helping out week after week and donating their time to build walls, fencing, shaping and rolling the track and all the other little tasks it takes to make for one incredible venue.

We hope to see you all back soon

From cold and windy to warm and sunny, all in one weekend. Walla Walla BMX and Moses Lake BMX state qualifiers are done. There's still more to come.

Tomorrow, Sunday May 17th is the Moses Lake BMX state race. The Beck Bros BMX race team is donating two items for drawings during intermission.

The first is a Fly helmet in youth large. It's bright. Very bright.

The second is a tool bag with tools. Bike tools. The tools you can use to fix 95% of any problems on a BMX bike. Its got hex's, torx's, tapes, wrenches, screwdrivers, tire levers, chain breaker, chain ring bolt tool, picks, pliers, wire cutters, Muc Off C3 oil, and the real MVP..... a ball peen hammer.

Don't have tools? You could win some. This is the same load out we bring to all the local races. Big races we bring the big box, but for most races we bring a 'go bag' of tools.
