Moscow Wrestling Club

Moscow Wrestling Club is a youth wrestling program located in Moscow, ID serving the Palouse Area of Idaho and Washington.

The purpose of the Moscow Wrestling Club is to improve the wrestling skills of young athletes in a fun, encouraging and instructive manner. Vision: Build champions in wrestling and life

Mission: To inspire fun, physical, emotional and mental well-being through the sport of wrestling as we promote the goal of personal responsibility and team success in life

Pyramid of Success: The Moscow Wrestlin

g Club has a pyramid of success consisting of six core values that are important on and off the mat. At the base of the pyramid we have, 1) Always have RESPECT and HONOR. Honor your coaches, opponents, teammates and parents. 2) Be THANKFUL for what you have and where you are. Grateful people are successful people. 3) Think POSITIVE in all you do while always looking to the future for how you can improve. The next story of the pyramid is, 4) Be COACHABLE! This means listen to your coaches, parents and peers and always be thinking about improving your skills. All great athletes, at all levels are coachable. 5) Always give your ALL, mentally, physically and emotionally. A true warrior never gives up and is always planning on how to get better. The top of the pyramid is, 6) Have FUN! Great athletes love the grind and discipline of following base 1-5 of the pyramid. People that have fun in their sport or occupation tend to succeed at it. In the end, they look back on their achievement with pride and say, "That was fun!"

Hello wrestling community!

We are excited to announce the newest sport offering at MMS by introducing the inaugural girls only wrestling season. Season runs Oct 20 through early December and is open to all 6, 7, and 8 grade girls of all skill levels (beginners to advanced are welcome)!

Our goal is to continue to grow the great sport of wrestling! Have a daughter interested but need more information? Please reach out to AD Mitch Running directly.

Have a daughter ready to join? Sign them up today on RegisterMyAthlete.com to help us gauge interest and prepare for the season.

There will be a parent meeting at MMS in room 206 on Oct 15 at 5:30pm to meet the coaches and learn more about the season. Please join Coach Haley, Coach Skyla, and Coach Palmer in this newest Cub sport program!

Wrestlers and wrestling families

My name is Pat Amos. I am a former head wrestling coach (Moscow and Middleton), former college wrestling coach (University of Montana Western) and the founder of the Moscow Wrestling Club (1980). I am working on the rebirth of The Moscow Wrestling Club this fall. We will be targeting wrestlers 5 years old up to 12 years old. We will start in September and go through most of November. We will be wrestling in the NCIWL (North Idaho Central Wrestling league). My focus will be strong fundamentals, a growth mindset, and to have young wrestlers fall in love with the sport so they will continue to compete in wrestling into the future. If you are interested in helping rebuild this program-as a coach, help with organization, or pitching in when you can, please email me at [email protected]. It takes a family to develop a successful program. I look forward to getting on the mat!
