It keeps the rifle cool as possible in the heat of the western sun! At this point the gun has already been shot and tested for reliability, re-inspected for headspace change, and hangups, then on to the coating proceed. Now she is going into cleaning #3 ,assembly, reliability #2 and accuracy testing with sight zeroing! She’ll leave out with a nice coat of for slickness!
